Definitely not a creationist ;-)

It may do but my money is on china taking advantage of the decline of america.

Russia cannot rival the big players but it adds its influence where ever it suites russia

Both China and Russia are constantly probing and
pushing of course.

It is kind of funny really, the Americans worrying
so much about those guys being commies.

Communism there was a great gift to the USA,
it took them right out of the running.

Imagine if all of China had been like Taiwan
after 1949!

Probably not, but 12% can be a big number.
(do you know where I can get 12% interest?)

Yes it can but 88% is bigger

Best i can manage is 3% and even that is americas fault. We were getting around 12% until the recession of the late noughties.

Can you explain it in your own words so I don't have to watch a 24 minute video?

He is not going to do that, he just likes to think he is wasting other peoples times by spamming threads with proselytizing videos.

He has managed to kill 2 threads for me now by uploading so many bandwidth stealing spam vids the threads became unusable on my tablet.

I have better things to do than type all that information out.

If you cannot be bothered to listen to a podcast, you cannot be bothered and I would have wasted an awful lot of time typing.

Not now. but in the 7o's yes went as far as 14% or more on overnight money. During Heaths premiership.
I bought everything I could on the longest terms, as the rampant inflation was covered by automatic pay rises.
every thing was paid off with devalued money, it was a no brainer.
Things tend to go in cycles.
Most graphs of financial indexes rise and fall like a heart beat. and totally ignore presidencies. the pattern has not skipped a beat between Obama and Trump.

I'm sure you have better things to do than explain your strange comment.

You can't even provide a brief summary? Nothing?
Are you sure you watched the video?

I'm talking about his policies (e.g. trade wars, immigration, LGBT discrimination, tax cuts for the rich), his shady business practices, his views against science (eg. climate change, pollution in general), his views on the free press ("enemy of the people"), the way he maligns the US's longstanding allies and sucks up to and supports dictators (e.g. love letters with Kim Jung Un, refusing to condemn Saudi Arabia for murdering and dismembering a journalist, his undying support of all things Putin), his general attitude and behavior towards anyone who doesn't fully kiss is backside or has any criticism of him whatsoever - he is always a buffoon and a clown.

He's made your country into a laughing stock in the world, which is quite a shame since I've often admired your country in the past. Look at how the people of the UK welcomed him.

P.S. I'm Canadian. Which I'm sure means that you're going to talk down to me and tell me the US needs us more than we need you (which is BS, because we need each other) but all I'm telling you is how Trump looks to the rest of the world. Though you don't seem to care much. And that's fine.
No, I don't care much, if at all.
'
'Your problem is, you have Trump derangement syndrome.

Here is how it works, there is much to criticize about Trump, as a person. He is hyperbolic, uncivil, a blowhard, morally questionable, and he says offensive things about every day.

People with TDS hate him so much, that they fold it into everything his administration does, thus, Trump did it, it must be bad.

You reeled off a bunch of talking points of those with TDS, which are simply bogus.

Calling the press the enemy of the people ? Words. Tell me one thing that his administration has done to limit their freedom. You can't.

The "trade war", which doesn't exist yet, but tariffs on ongoing trade with China, I support. ? Why ? Did you know that for any American company operating in China, China by proxy must be given 51% of the company, thus control. with this, they steal the technology which is passed on to the government for use wherever they want it, including military and government spinoff countries. Do we do that to them ? They steal copyrighted material, patented hardware and products, everything they can get their hands on, we have never reciprocated.

Americans want the flow of millions of economic immigrants into our country stopped. They cost the American taxpayer billions every year in federal and state taxes.

Unlike Canada, we do not have a merit based immigration system, so we are swamped by uneducated, unskilled, unable to speak the language,m people who are given a whole host of social benefits that should be for Americans.

You will hear the plea that these people need sanctuary, asylum, and of the cases adjudicated about 13% are granted asylum.

What happens in actuality is that they are detained for 20 days or so, then they have to be released, they disappear, never to be heard from again. They are given a hearing date, and a paltry few show up, most live supplemented by the American taxpayer in the US for the rest of their lives.

International law says someone seeking asylum must apply for it in the first country they arrive in, Mexico. They don't want to live in Mexico, there are virtually no social services, and if they work, the pay is minuscule compared to the US. So they drag their families about 2,000 miles for the US. They cross the border, illegally i many cases, and as they have been taught by lawyers in Mexico, they seek out a border officer, say asylum in a rote sentence, and they have the keys to the kingdom.

AS to separating children from parents, that began in the Obama administration because children could only be held for 20 days, if their parents are with them they can only be held twenty days. They were separated to give more time to vet the parents, and try and determine if the kids are even theirs. Their is a thriving business in Mexico of renting children to those that don't have them, the same children have shown up multiple times. They are released with their bogus parents, and are filtered back to Mexico for the next rent out.
Trump is right on immigration.

I will respond to your TDS and the rest of your post later.
