Might like to go back and ammend your earlier comment about first world countries then, maybe? Or hey, maybe you could start some "ZOMG! LOOK AT THE CRAZY AMERICANS!" threads, just for something new? Child marriages could be your first topic.

I knew a guy in jail who got 12 years for an 8 year old performing oral sex on him. I find it strange that all he had to do was get married to her and somehow that would be legal.

Of course I'm willing to admit my mistakes.. Congratulations!:thumbsup:

I already thought Americans were quite crazy on average in the first place , so no need to deny that.

So are these marriages allowed to be consummated when a child is prepubescent in America?

Also, I start many threads condemning the Bible and Christianity. My problem is with abrahamic monotheism and the Bible and the Quran.

I think there is some truth in both of the books and a lot of errors as well.

but I asked you for a first world country that permits child marriage, and you gave me what I was looking for, congratulations! :)

If you read the link, you would see that those marriages can indeed be consumated. Indeed, the child being pregnant is usually the legal justification given for why the marriage should be allowed.

Anyway, just to clarify about the Church of England collapsing is that I mean its membership and practice has collapsed. When you go from being the majority religion and widely practiced to only about 1% of the population filling a pew on Sundays and only a minority of adults considering themselves believers and a minority babies being baptized, I'd call that a collapse. It's really quite extraordinary. I posted a link talking about it and you can Google it yourselves. I'm not making things up and I won't tolerate insults.

Also, transsexuals are accepted in Iran and the government covers the procedures. Homosexuality sadly isn't, though. But it's a start. I wouldn't mind visiting Tehran one day. It's a beautiful city.

I keep an Iranian flag on my wall. I just love Persia! They are a beautiful people with a rich history.

I also want to see Shiites win against the Sunnis. Most of the radical terrorist groups are Sunni. Sunnis have been blowing up Shiite mosques, kidnapping, raping, torturing, slaying, bullying, and enslaving Shiites for roughly 14 hundred years. Many sunnis consider Shiites to be unbelievers and satanic.

I admire how the Shiites honor their dead heroes like Catholics honor saints.

It would be nice to see Shia Islam finally triumph. Hence, I'll be very disappointed if America attacks Iran.

Even Assad , an alawite shi'ite, was much nicer to non-muslims than his enemies. Many Christians found safety in his country, and Christians declared that if Assad was removed, the Christians would be destroyed.

So, I'm quite fond of Shiites, pray for them, and sympathize with them. That's cool that you have a Shiite Quran! :)

I admire Persia, too. :) I am actually a bit relieved that Hillary didn't win the election because we would probably be at war with Iran now. And I voted for her. Lol. Trump doesn't seem as keen on rushing into wars, although he talks tough. He even said he is open to meeting with the Iranian president! That would be a wonderful thing. One thing is for sure that we need to stop destroying the Middle East. I'd rather have Assad than loony Jihadists. Obviously Assad is a dictator and oppressive but it's better than the alternative. He is certainly not the worst, like you said.

I had no idea that Qur'an is a Shia one when I bought it. It was just a nice one from Amazon. So it was a nice surprise. :) Now I want to read it. Lol.

Most of the Quran is not bad. The section titled "Mary" is my favorite one. There is more in the Quran about Mary than there is in the Bible.

That's interesting what you say about Hillary. I did not know that. I've never been a fan of her though.

Mary is one of the most beloved women in Islam. They also believe that she is ever-virgin. I've seen Muslims get very offended when someone says bad things about Mary. Her name is very popular in Muslim cultures.

Hillary is a warmonger. Obama was, too. They had the same foreign policy as Bush, basically. She cheered and joked when Gaddafi was killed. That always bothered me. He was killed very brutally and it was probably an illegal killing. He was unarmed and begged for his life. I was extremely angry when I found out about it. I remember being at Mass that morning just mad.

I keep a picture of him on my wall and pray for his soul as he journeys in the next life.

Obviously he wasn't a saint and some of that thread is just me being silly :p, but he was actually an incredible leader in many ways. He gave his people a lot of luxuries that we do not have here in America.
