All good objectivity is decided by subjective judgments.

Wrong, objectivity requires a lack of sentimental bias, no emotion taints the objective, personal opinion doesn't come into it

You can say the same about god magic, belief in mythology and religious dogma?

Inane drivel

This is a private fight and you were not invited. But if you must consider the following. You will probably not like it. But the idea that your belief system is not better than anyone else's is still a possibility. The funny thing about nature is nature always turns out to be much more stranger than anything we could have ever imagined.

I think why you qualify my comments as inane drivel is because you have blind faith in something that just doesn't exist. Here's another great article to prove my point about being naive about the limitations of objective thought:

https://www.popsci.com/science/article/2012-09/book-excerpt-there-no-such-thing-time

I get it that you are drunk with the power of science. But the reality is we do NOT live in a clockwork Universe with hard determinism. And as long as that is true, God is a better explanation of what is happening since the latest experiments in quantum mechanics have shown classical materialism is pure delusion:

You can ignore the implications of the experiment results. You can be naive and just assume materialism is science fact. And you could continue your "inane drivel" about science actually knows something meaningful about reality. All science knows is what nature dictates. Everything else is based on delusions.

The difference is I know I am deluded. People who know they are crazy are not crazy.

I am completely normal, my psychiatrist told me so ;-)

Your last sentence says everything you need to say and you dont even realise it.

Interestingly i have two relatives with mental illness, one with bipolar disorder, one with schizophrenia, both know they are seriously ill.

Those who know they are crazy are crazy,

Since when have you taken responsibility for whom i invite?
Since when have you been arbiter of who is allowed to post on a public thread?

Good so far, tho it is news of the obvious.
(though we don't say "more stranger")

No, it is because I have read some of it. You just
make things up; see your previous and next line.

I get it that you are drunk with the power of science

You dont get why I say you make up inane drivel.

Noteworthy is that you keep doing it, with no
evidence of self awareness. You do not even know
you are doing it, do you?

I think our friend is saying he is "deluded" in some
way that is meaningful only to him.

On an operative level, what we keep seeing is
concocted "facts" presented as if they were
deeply insightful truths. But it is gibberish, as in
the comment about crazy people.

There is some awful disconnect involved.

Good luck girls. Maybe some day you will figure it out.

Hey @Audie I think i sense a little deeply Christian misogyny here. Amazing how much it bubbles just below the surface of bible literalists. Although they would be the first to vehemently deny that thats how the bible bible teaches them.

Funny, I thought it was you girls having father issues with Christianity as being the problem.

In an earlier era, you'd be the one who
would dip the hair of the girl in front of
you in class into your inkwell.

If you don't actually think what you said
about "father issue", it, was just a poor
try at being a clever misogynist.

If you really do think that, then my earlier
assessment of you fell short. Either way,
you disgust me.

Not really. I'm pretty convinced God is woman. No man could create anything as beautiful as a woman. Of course, coming to the conclusion a woman is beautiful is purely a subjective judgment.

There you go! The only thing of significance about
a woman is how "beautiful" you think she is.

Talk to C, if she will have you. You are off to ig
city for me.

Yes, you are right in the sense I find intelligent women to be the most beautiful. Go ahead and put me on ignore. I'm prefer intelligent woman anyway.
