Why the double standard?

Russia has an economy roughly the size of Italy's, so the suggestion it's trying to invade the West is absurd.

I agree. I didn't mean "the West" as in France etc. I meant west currently as in ukraine, to the west of Russia.
Into its former soviet territories.

It does however possess some very advanced missile technology, so whilst it doesn't even have the resources to do what you claim, it does have a very nasty bite.
Also, the USA has 750 military bases worldwide, Russia has 3 outside of the old Soviet bloc, so tell us more about Russia's plans for world dominion whilst your country is actually the real problem (supported by mine).
I didn't claim any of this.

Putin always says the truth.

And you say that with a straight face.:tearsofjoy::facepalm:

Yeah...and that would be absolutely wonderful.
If the NATO were a pacifist and peace-promoting organization.
On the contrary, it is a warlike organization sowing the seeds of wars and discord.

And I can say anything about the NATO because article 11 of the Italian Constitution defends my freedom of speech.
To criticize an organization that insults and defaces the sacred principles of my constitution.

You can say anything alright. As you always do. Like, literally "anything".

Because they are scared.

lol

They are scared that devilish warmongers use the NATO to conquer Moscow and rob all the Russian raw materials from the Russians.

Completely delusional.
I you actually believe that, or if you even only believe they actually believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

The NATO has never denied that their goal is to antagonize and ultimately conquer Russia.
They have never denied that.

What a strange thing to say.

YOU have also "never denied" that YOUR goal is to destroy the universe.

The question is, why would you................

My goal is to bring peace on Earth and in the Universe.
See? I said that.

Which isnt a denial of wanting to destroy the universe.
Seems like the point went straight over your head, as usual.

The goal of NATO is a defensive alliance where all members are to come to the aid of another member when it is under attack.

Those warmongers have never denied that they want to surround Moscow to take it.
They have no need to.
Their mission statement is quite clear. It has nothing to do with surrounding or conquering anything and everything with providing military support to members when and if they are under attack.

Ukraine isn't a member of NATO, and it wasn't in conflict with Russia until the US backed coup and US installed puppet which resulted in the Ukrainians shelling the Donbass and directly provoking Russia for 8 years.

The US didn't install any puppets. Elections took place.
And that coup was the result of Ukrainian citizens revolting against a Russian puppet.

In November 2013, a wave of large-scale protests known as "Euromaidan" began in response to President Yanukovych's decision not to sign a political association and free trade agreement with the European Union (EU), instead choosing closer ties to Russia. Euromaidan soon developed into the largest democratic mass movement in Europe since 1989.[29] Earlier that year the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) had overwhelmingly approved finalizing the agreement;[30] Russia had pressured Ukraine to reject it.[31] The scope of the protests widened, with calls for the resignation of Yanukovych and the Azarov government.[32] Protesters opposed what they saw as widespread government corruption and abuse of power, the influence of Russia and oligarchs, police brutality, human rights violations,[33][34] and repressive anti-protest laws.[33]

On 21 February, Yanukovych and the parliamentary opposition signed an agreement to bring about an interim unity government, constitutional reforms and early elections. Police abandoned central Kyiv that afternoon and the protesters took control. Yanukovych fled the city that evening.[36] The next day, 22 February, the Ukrainian parliament voted to remove Yanukovych from office by 328 to 0 (about 73% of the parliament's 450 members).[37][38][39][40] Yanukovych claimed this vote was illegal and asked Russia for help.[41] Russian propaganda described the events as a "coup".[42][43][44]

Ukrainians didn't "just" start shelling Donbass nor did they provoke Russia.

Instead, Russia had been organizing, leading, funding and encouraging separatists and Ukraine responded with military intervention after such militias, lead by russians and using russian weapons, started seizing towns and government buildings.

Don't give me that Russian propaganda crap.

Yes, that's exactly what they did, the CIA has been active in Ukraine since its inception. Oliver Stone's 'Ukraine on Fire' documentary has the recorded conversation with Madeleine Albright triumphantly claiming 'We have our man' referring to the regime change the US backed. Interestingly this recording has generally been airbrushed from existence, imagine my shock...

Good old US propaganda eh! but let me guess, your government is the only one that's completely trustworthy, am I right?

If you can't see the ancient US PsyOp of 'The Russians did it!' while the inverse is generally true, I'm not sure what to say. You might like to research who funded and backed Lenin and Trotsky and take those star spangled blinkers off for a change.

Yes, you pretty much proved me right here, the EU and the US backed the maidan coup, as the US have done in numerous other states in order to gain influence and power (remember those 750 bases?). To give you an idea of how bad Wikipedia 'evidence' is just check out reference 29 in your pasted article, and I quote;

'[The Euromaidan in 2013 / 2014 was no coup organized by the US and carried out by Ukrainian faschists, as some people here in Germany want to present it with reference to the Russian media. ... There is a large number of very convincing studies from the fields of history, cultural science, social science, and political science showing that the Euromaidan was the largest democratic mass movement in Europe since 1989.]'

Well that's compelling evidence then, essentially some German bloke said so and forgot to provide any of these studies, I mean seriously? Have you not understood how controlled wikipedia is yet?

Every single day I get updates how many people have died in Gaza or Lebanon. Every day. Many articles in my feed.

I don't think I've ever gotten an article in my feed telling me of casualties in Ukraine. Certainly not multiple articles every day.

I know why *I* think there is this double standard, but I'm curious why you all think so.

Cuz that's what the script calls for at the moment. You are not supposed to understand the script, just chill and spread love as you can

Israel made anti-semitism and Islamism completely unnecessary to breed terrorists in Gaza. Imagine a child right now going through all of this, some loved ones died, others maimed. Imagine this child, 5 years from now, being granted the opportunity for revenge.
How can you get revenge on the soldiers who did it or the people who ordered the killing when you'll never get to find out.

Saw many races and countries get completely mistreated and not seek revenge because the people who did it are not around anymore and because they realize going and doing the same thing to someone else makes me as bad as my aggressors, chill out bro

It wasn't a coup, and it wasn't propped up by either the EU or US. Hundreds of protesters died protesting against the Yanukovych government and its ties to Russia, and to have the total lack of respect, decency and honesty to portray their revolution and ousting of that government as a "coup" is disgusting.

You should be ashamed.

Yes yes, and the CIA mobilized millions of Ukrainian citizens to stand up against corruption and for democracy also, I bet?

Ukraine was slowly but surely moving towards EU cooperation and the Russians (aka Putin) didn't like that.

Yanukovych later explained to his entourage the decision was the result of an exchange with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who had allegedly threatened to occupy Crimea and a sizable part of southeastern Ukraine, including the Donbas, if he signed the EU agreement.[154]

We are not talking about Lenin and Trotsky. We are talking about what happened from 2012 onwards in Ukraine.

Yeah, ok, that little insignificant reference regarding the size of the movement not mentioning the studies talked about "proves" the unevidenced Russian propaganda about the entire thing being staged by the US who somehow managed to mobilize millions of Ukrainians to protest and face government brutality which killed a bunch of them. Sure.

When there is an entire State behind it, finding out who specifically shed blood is unnecessary. Every single soldier of that nation represents the killing machine responsible for those deaths.

Saw many races and countries get completely mistreated and not seek revenge because the people who did it are not around anymore and because they realize going and doing the same thing to someone else makes me as bad as my aggressors, chill out bro

You speak as if this was a new conflict where drawing comparisons with others is pertinent given the lack of knowledge on how this specific population would react. But it is not. There is a long history revolving around cycles of violence on Gaza.

So a soldier who was forcefully by law put into the army is to blame as much as the one who hates a group and wants to torment them? The medical team who go there just to treat wounded soldiers should suffer for supporting "the enemy". The people who have no say in what their government and military does should be punished? The people who are unaware of this all but live there should be punished? Or the soldiers and public who have been brainwashed and led astray in order to have them partake in this war are to blame for trying to do the right thing in their minds?

That's alot of misguided hate and blame, don't be like the USA and go starting wars before the facts come out

It wasn't in conflict with Russia because it was effectively Russia's puppet country. As soon as Russia lost control over Ukraine, Crimea was quickly annexed. Viktor Yanukovych even ran away to Russia.

I wouldn't use the word conspiracy because it implies secrecy. I think antisemitism is very up front and in your face.

I’m not sure anti Semitism explains the narrative, but Ukraine good Israel bad is certainly the story we are all being sold.

Nobody ever really wins in war, and there are no good guys except the innocent who always suffer most. It’s a decent into savagery that should be avoided at all costs imo.
