Why the middle-east is "on fire"

The main reason why what we see is unfolding is this:

In 2016, there were 15 Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel.

The Israeli military reported that 35 rockets and mortars were launched from the Gaza Strip in 2017, the vast majority of them in December. This wave of rocket attacks came amid Palestinian outrage over the United States government decision to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. The rockets did not cause any fatalities or serious injuries. The Israeli military attributed the attacks to Palestinian Islamic Jihad and other Salafi groups. Israel retaliated to the attacks by striking Hamas positions, causing two deaths. Hamas conducted a series of arrests of Salafi militants it said were responsible for rocket attacks.

..so, it is all about the Trump administration .. their blatant disregard for the UN.

United Nations General Assembly Resolution ES‑10/19 is an emergency session resolution declaring the status of Jerusalem as Israel's capital as "null and void". It was adopted by the 37th Plenary meeting of the tenth emergency special session of the United Nations General Assembly during the tenure of the seventy-second session of the United Nations General Assembly on 21 December 2017. The resolution was drafted by Yemen and Turkey. Though strongly contested by the United States, it passed by 128 votes to 9 against with 21 absentees and 35 abstentions.
...
UN Ambassador Nikki Haley announced that the U.S. will move its embassy to Jerusalem and "no vote in the UN will make any difference on that" and that the US was "by far the single largest contributor to the UN." She also warned that the US might also cut funding to the UN itself.

Ever since then, the Israeli regime has become emboldened, increasing their hostility and aggression
towards Palestinians.
It seems increasingly likely that Trump will win the US elections, and the world will be plunged into disaster.
There is nothing we can do .. the UN will further lose credibility and the World will be at war.

The US government's decision to move the embassy to Jerusalem actually came down in 1995:

The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995[1] is a public law of the United States passed by the 104th Congress on October 23, 1995. The proposed law was adopted by the Senate (93–5),[2] and the House (374–37).[3] The Act became law without a presidential signature on November 8, 1995.

Seems like it passed with an overwhelming majority.

Despite passage, the law allowed the President to invoke a six-month waiver of the application of the law, and reissue the waiver every six months on "national security" grounds. The waiver was repeatedly renewed by Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama.[5] President Donald Trump signed a waiver in June 2017. On June 5, 2017, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution commemorating the 50th anniversary of reunification of Jerusalem by 90–0. The resolution reaffirmed the Jerusalem Embassy Act and called upon the President and all United States officials to abide by its provisions.[6] On December 6, 2017, Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital,[7] and ordered the planning of the relocation of the embassy.[8][9] However, following the announcement, Trump signed an embassy waiver again, delaying the move, as mandated by the Act, by at least six months.[10][11] Legally, however, the U.S. embassy can be moved at any time without reliance on the Act.

I never agreed with it and recognized that it could inflame the situation.

I saw it as an indication that much of this fighting and violence is not just about land, but it's about holy land. That particular piece of real estate has garnered enormous attention over the past couple of millennia.

Normalization is an existential threat to the Iran, Hezbollah, and Hama regimes. Provoking an overreaction by effecting the worst terror attack against the Jewish people since Hitler is the surest way to sabotage this possibility.
If it wasn't Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis, it would be some other resistance group.
As we all know, Iraq and Afghanistan were invaded, and sunni Muslim resistance groups
put down .. so now we have the shia groups left to "pick off".

This is irrelevant .. and the whole of the Middle East is beginning to realize.
The main threat in the region is Israel, which is in effect the extension of US.

When Trump gets back into power (most likely), he will further erode the UN's voice, thereby
destroying any chance of world peace.
