Yes, I've heard that it's good for a bad back.
"Everybody plays the fool, sometimes." I invented that phrase just now. Its not from a song lyric. Don't check.
I didn't check, but I seem to recall that song from the early 70s. It was played a lot on the radio. It was the first time I heard that phrase and didn't really understand it at the time. I can't remember the name of the artist, though. But I won't check. I'm just recalling from memory.
