Wolverine Trailer!

I'm a HUGE fan of the comic so I'm going to be VERY picky about this movie, while the trailer looks good I'm worried about the guy playing Sabertooth. While he's a good actor He looks fat in the photos plus he's not nearly tall enough.

I'll let you all judge for yourselfes.

I am assuming that is Creed at the the end of the trailer but it doesn't resemble Taylor Mane from the first X-Men movie. If it is Sabertooth, I guess the actor playing him will be doing a little more than just growling.

Tayloer Mane had the look I'm not sure how his acting is. LIke I said before I like the actor but there are already two strikes against him so far. However it does look like they are taking some from the book Origin which is a good idea, again we'll just have to see.

I was just about to make a thread about this too.

Watching the trailer makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Creed's a little bit smaller and less "animal" looking for my tastes, but everything else looks delicious.....and to top it off, there's finally Gambit. I feel giddy as a school girl. :flirt:

So did I untill I saw Gambit I never knew he had anything to do with the program. Unless he came in later I don't get why he's in the movie.

Gambit didn't have anything to do with Weapon X as far as I know. I think they just decided to throw him in there since they didn't do it in any of the X-Men films.

Watching the trailer again though, I have to retract my last statement as I'm not as giddy: Wolverine looks bigger than Sabertooth, Deadpool looks nothing like he does in the comics and by that I mean, not even close resembling any relation to the character other than some swords.....I mean is it really that hard to stick to character defining details like that? Good going Hollywood.

Wolverine is the only Marvel comic that I care to read because he's so intresting. So I'll pick this movie apart quickly if not done right. Your hit some key issues that I saw right off & unless the guy playing Sabertooth beefed up then we're going to have a problem ( at least I am) :faint: Perhaps they will use some of that movie magic & make him taller. I'm not sure.....

I am excited only because they seem to have used parts from the Origins comic. Sabertooth is horribly done, Gambit has nothing to do with Weapon X, Alpha Flight, or any other Canada based group. HE SHOULDN"T BE IN THIS MOVIE! Deadpool looks worse in the trailer than I had originally thought.

I understand they needed someone to act for Sabertooth & that guys a good actor but they should of let him beef up or something for it. They do look like they took parts of origin, which was a smart move.

Well Friday's the day. I'll be one of the first in line to watch it, but I don't have any high expectations. Everything I was worried about above doesn't seemed to have changed after seeing all the new trailers....if anything, it's gotten worse.
