I like Wolf brand turkey chili with beans.
I discovered that if I rinse out the can, & put the
water on the chili in the bowl, it does 3 things....
- Clean the can for recycling.
- Water on top of the sludgie portion of chili prevents splattering in the microwave.
- I get a good portion of soup in addition to the chili.

This pleases me.

Bridging the Gap Between Believers and Skeptics
I recently discovered that there was a chart of American music published before Billboard called Your Hit Parade from 1935-1940 and I added those songs to my #1 singles for America.

I also found out that one of my best friends wants my Switch Lite, and as I already have a normal Switch I've decided that I'm going to give her my Switch Lite to her, soon.

I also discovered that it is snowing outside! Man, it's coming down!

Keep it there!

3 weeks ago, we were getting ready to go to Battle Creek, but when I saw what was coming, I postponed it. Good thing I did as they got 2 & 1/2 feet. When I lived in Kalamazoo in 1967, we got three feet of blowing snow in two days, and they had to call out the national guard.

I can use a toothbrush to clean dust out of holes I just drilled in concrete. It works great, but I've found I have to retire those brushes from subsequent bathroom duties.

Electrician's steel straps are a great way to attach horse panels to wooden posts.

The windscreens used on tennis courts make great wind blocks for horses. You can attach the windscreens to horse panels using zip ties.

When you need to add a gate to an electric horse fence, you can run the electric "hot tape" through leaky old hoses (as insulation), and then bury them under the gate.

When you need to tie things together, used baling twine is remarkably strong AND long lasting, even in harsh weather.

With a little work, a rugged, trail-runner's baby stroller can be retro-fitted to make a great mobile video camera dolly.

A used golf cart is an economical alternative to an ATV for "around the farm".

This is not me, but maybe worth repeating.

If your never clean your house, eventually it doesn't get worse.

I don't believe that's true.

I'm not that person, either, but I have some people in my circle of awareness that fall into this category, and it really does just keep getting worse...

White vinegar works great for.
Removing lime scale from kettles, better than shop bought descaler.
And.
Diluted about 10 water to 1 vinegar cleans windows as well as any shop bought window cleaner.

When drilling holes in walls hold a vacuum cleaner nozzle under the drill, as the dust comes out the vacuum sucks it up saving on dust marks down the walls and cleanup after the job.

Also, when the hole is drilled hold the nozzle over it for a second, it cleans out the hole.

This may be old school but it's quite new to me, when boiling rice crumble a vegetable stock cube into the water.

Make sure your cat cannot see you when it is having its temperature taken by the vet. Those cute bundles of fur can hold a grudge.

It also works well as a fabric softener.

That all things that are sold in paper bags are useful because of the bags: bags can be reused to collect paper to recycle. So you throw all paper stuff into the paper bin with one gesture. ;)

As a kid I discovered many things. Negative numbers, fractions, some mathematical laws, all before I was taught in school. What I learned from that is, no matter how clever my idea is, someone probably had it before me.
