Word of wisdom in Non-Abrahamic Faiths

Nice analogy (no water, dry, constipation)

You have some great practices

Eager to progress is a good thing. I always start with the basics. When mastered, all else is so much lighter. Also worked with math basics

Thank you for sharing

Wow, practicing 3 martial arts

I came not further than watching
I did try, but my lifelong headache
didn't agree with martial arts
These practices are great and I only started learning this year. Physically, mentally and emotionally I am better because of these practices.

Yeah I do 3 martial arts because the same Sifu teaches them. I have never been athletic, never thought I would ever be athletic, and basically had to start from -100 physical fitness. But I have always loved martial arts and needed to do some activity to help with my blood pressure and stress levels. And these activities fit me perfectly and turned out to be way more important in my life than mere exercises. What opened my eyes to the spiritual aspect was when the our Grand Master Lee Kam Wing passed away and my Sifu had a make shift shrine to him and we had to honor him, our sifu and ourselves with scented candles. It was another catalyst to my spiritual growth.

I was, and still am, so arrogant that I want to progress rather than master basics. Mastering the basics is the balanced way.

Sorry to hear about your lifelong headache interfering with the pursuit of martial arts. Which ones did you try out?

Wonderful to hear you found your way. My Master always told us "if you have found your way, dive deep, and don't give up until you have secured the pearls". Any path is good, as long as it feels good for you.

Better not say "I am arrogant", as it blocks the Self Realisation "I Am a Divine Incarnation", on a subtle level ... words are truly potent. Of course it's useful to acknowledge points to work on, just dont use the construction "I am ...", keep that one for Self Realisation ;) (my Master stressed that point a lot)

I tried judo, jiu jitsu. I really like the smooth moves of Marshall arts. But it's fine for me. There are plenty of exercises I can do. At least I don't need to exercise to loose weight. My vegetarian lifestyle, and God's Grace probably, keeps my body quite fit at age 60 already

Thank you. It actually came from a lucid dream I had 2 nights ago, but I'm tapped into the depth and wealth of ancient Sanatana Dharma.
Thats amazing. So Sanatama Dharma has helped you with lucid dreaming?

Only this year did i realise what it means to find my way. Previously i thought it was mainly head knowledge, because even though Christianity emphasises a relationship with God which is from the heart, if your heart doesnt feel that relationship but feels that there is something wrong with the path you are taking, they say you are the problem and should use head knowledge. Once I started to trust myself and my intuition, i can now delve deep into the right path. Your guru is wise. I want those pearls!!!!

Thanks for the insight into using "I am". It is a foreign concept to my mind though. Could you please elaborate further? How else should I phrase this instead?

Ah. I can understand why your headache didnt agree with the martial arts. Both judo amd bjj are damaging the body and judo especially can cause trauma to your body when landing. Seems like what you could do is taijiquan, we have a lady who started in her 70s. It is great for the body, like yoga, and if you go deep you could find complementary spiritual teachings to add to your repertoire. It wont mess up your body. I use it to relieve my headaches. Sounds like you are very healthy already :)
