Would agree with the statement "My beliefs are based on my experiences"?

My beliefs are most certainly based on my experiences in life and spirit.

What is it that drew you to your faith? Do your experiences define what you believe or are your experiences defined by your belief?

Initially I agreed with it, but I guess that I can't contradict myself. My birth is what drew me to my faith and my testimony is what keeps my holding on to it. Since my beliefs came before my experiences, I'm not sure that I can say that my beliefs are based on my experiences, but the my beliefs have definately been supported and confirmed by my experiences.
