Would Mrs Doubtfire 2 have been good ?

Mrs Doubtfire 1 already wasn't good, I doubt a sequel to "man wears dresses to stalk his ex wife, which is the entire joke" would have improved things.

The quality of a sequel would depend upon the direction they took. I’ve never really speculated about it before. That said, I would boycott any attempt to do a remake now. It’s reminiscent of how I felt about remakes of The Crow, but for different reasons.

I see little purpose for a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel, did enjoy the movie.
As for Robbin Wiliams, I liked most of his movies, I can still hear 'Good Morning, Viet Nam'. Loved the series 'Mork and Mindy'.

I weren't a huge fan of the movies he made. Nothing to do with him as a person, just didn't find them particular good.

I do however miss John Candy, I grew up with his movies and have watched most of them countless times :D

Probably not. Glad it wasn't made. RIP, Robin.

If they stated in the first movie Mrs Doubtfire was a man (in the show he appears in at the end) then it obviously wouldn't have worked as everyone already knew. Apparently it was about the youngest daughter going to University so he'd have moved in near her campus but again, the daughter would have known it was him.

Why did Jim Carrey, Robin Williams and Eddie Murphy peak in the 90s but after that do loads of crappy movies? OK Bruce Almighty was good but you had awful movies like The Adventures of Pluto Nash, Haunted Mansion and Mr Popper's Penguins

I take it you've never seen the movie?, which clearly shows his being made up as a woman from the beginning, right after loosing custody of his kids.

The kids found out. I'm not 100% sure the whole world found out until the end where he became a character on a TV show: normally they'd put his name in the show's credits but if Mrs Doubtfire 2 was set in 2015 then everyone would know because they have the internet.
