I would have to be proof positive sure. The enemy can pose as an angel of light.

But you would do it? And you'ld consider it a good thing, right?

I believe I am a slave and much better off because of it. As the prodigal son figured out; it would be better to be a slave in his father's house than a free man in the pig pen.

If I found out my child was gay or something, I would reject my kid and not God I hope.

I do not believe that is a reason for killing a kid. No doubt God has not struck them all dead.

We're taking as given that God is real, I assume.

I'd say that any God worth his salt will be okay for a bit without my help, so if we're going by order of need, God would have to come last.

What I mean by reject is that I would acknowledge they are doing a great wrong and not reject God's judgment on the issue. I would not kick them out of the house nor treat them bad aside from holding the moral stance that what they are doing is wrong.

If your religion would interfere with your duty as a parent to provide basic love and support, then ethics demands that you avoid having kids.

They clearly called themselves a slave, not a servant

They could have used that word to describe themselves but no, they didn't. They chose to use the one they did.

I choose the most trustworthy over the least trustworthy. I choose the best character over the worst character. If there was a God then that God would have to prove both trust and character to what that God created.

Just accepting a God without proof of trustworthiness and character is a no no. Power and might don't make right.
