There is no option for 'neither.' You can put me down for that.

But I will admit, I’ll be stocking up on popcorn if the Trumpster is arrested. Just for the reactions, at least

President. That would make the spiral into the abyss much steeper. In five years the US will be bankrupt, monetary, not only morally.
Vote Trump. Make Europe great again (by comparison).

(By the way, I'd also like to see Trump arrested and convicted. And both is possible in the US. He can run for Prez from prison.)

I made a promise I wouldn't vote for Trump this election.

I will enjoy the show however and vote for the Republican nominee with the highest iq, provided Trump isn't the smartest in the lineup for 2024.

We have a well protected class of people here that is above the law. Will never happen.

My true feelings are he can do unspeakable things and go to unspeakable places. But fir the poll I can settle for him in prison.

I voted "arrested", but I really mean convicted of a felony (so he can't be president again).

That assumes he would be guilty, I wouldn't want to see an innocent man (anyone!) wrongly convicted.

The two things actually stand separately for me. I don't want him to be president again
and I want him to be treated the same as everyone else under the law. I want both.

I suspect your post is tongue-in-cheek, so I'll ask: do you really wish to see the US become economically ruined? You know quite a bit about my opinions on American foreign policy, but I wouldn't wish for that because it would harm a lot of innocent people, including many I consider friends.

Collapsing superpowers can sometimes also be desperate and unpredictably aggressive as a result. I wouldn't trust an economically crumbling US not to become even more self-servingly malicious than it has historically been.

It's only half joking. Of course a total collapse would have far reaching and disastrous consequences. I would prefer the US coming to its senses without that. But the chances of that happening are slim.

Yes, if IQ stands for "Integrity Test". Unfortunately there is no such thing at present.
Of course there is. If the candidate refuses to say that Trump lost in 2020, and/or refuses to say insurrection is a bad thing, they fail the integrity test.

Yes. But I was thinking of something that could be used and enforced before a person has proved his lack of integrity by screwing the country up. Something like 'banned from public office" that is attached to a person's record when leaving High School. ;)
