No they don't, you are making up a straw man claim, and using it as a sweeping generalisation, again atheists do not believe any deity exists, so do you insist all the deities you do not believe in reveal themselves? You never answered before??



The atheists in this thread are answering a hypothetical question.
They actually do claim that Sheldon. And what difference does it matter if it's hypothetical?

They point out that claims a deity has revealed itself are anecdotal and subjective, and unsupported by any objective evidence. Obviously the difference is important, as it would be irrational to imagine something you don't believe exists, can reveal itself. So when they assert hasn't revealed itself in this instance, they mean there is no objective evidence to support such a claim. Though some atheists may of course go farther, few do in my experience.
