You did it again, SweetOne. By coming across the border and entering your country illegally, they become criminals in the process. In no way am I implying that they contribute to raw conventional crime stats. They do however break one or more federal laws by sneaking across your border and that criminal behavior should be recognized for what it is. You can pretend I meant something more sinister, but you would be quite wrong.
This time I have to apologize for assuming what you meant by "criminals". Not sure what you mean by "You did it again" though. I don't generally post misinformation.

As a Californian, I honestly don't know how our state would function without illegals. I have two friends who are farmers and employ illegal immigrants from Mexico. The illegals pay taxes. If the government wants to find them, it's super easy. They never come looking though.

"You did it again" was referring to your false comparison. :)
"I honestly don't know how our state would function without illegals." tells me that your state is not being run very well and that probably is the result of deeply entrenched systemic problems.

If you call a billion dollar budget surplus a problem, I guess I'd have to agree. Can you tell yet that I don't generally have a problem with illegals? :)

I voted no. I admit that he is entertaining to watch but as a candidate I would seriously consider voting for, no. For one I believe he would be dangerous as a president internationally as well as extremely divisive domestically. As a whole a disaster.

Relatively meaningless compared to your debt load. Sounds like financial smoke and mirrors....

Absolutely not, and that has nothing to do with his political views. He could tick the boxes on every issue that I care about and have the same position that I have, it would not matter - he does not pass the character test.

The man says he won't take nuking Europe "off the table," to pick one of so many outrageous statements at random.

Trump seems appros givin the horrible direction the country is going. Bout time the system and status quo needed a royal and proper shake up.

Surely you can't mean that.

I look at it this way.
It is obvious that Hillary will be the Democrats presidential candidate. Now Trump does come across as somewhat of an *** at times; However, I do believe that he is smart enough to recruit advisors and cabinet members that can provide him with viable options when it comes to policies. Remember he is not a dictator and can only use Executive Orders that do not violate the Constitution. (not going there with the Obama's track record). I do not see him as hawkish as the Hillary and his major plus is that the Democrats and the Republican establishment are afraid of him. So, if it comes down to Trump I will vote Trump, if it comes down to Cruz I will vote Cruz if it is anyone else I will vote for anyone but a Democrat or Republican presidential candidate (Libertarian)

There are a fair number of Republicans in office who have stated that they will not vote for Trump because it could lead to an unmitigated disaster for the country and the party, and I do believe that is possible on both counts. And Cruz ain't much better, and it's unfortunate that Kasich doesn't stand much of a chance even if there's a contested convention.

That is no reason to choose to embrace a grave mistake.
We will certainly survive a Trump presidency. Hillary would be far worse imo givin her past track record. Trump clearly is untested in politics, but has the quality of "street smarts" that I think appeals to a large majority of Americans who are sick and tired of being railroaded and taken advantaged of by self serving career politictions that have no interest whatsoever in changing the political and economic landscape as it stands.

There's simply too much entrenchment and status quo for far too long. Trump may be just the man to at least start uprooting a number of problems and issues that has been cancerous and destructive for the nation for a long time now that no one else seems to want to touch for one reason or another

Givin the choices of only two people and only two parties with no viable alternate elsewhere to go, It seems high time for a wild card here.

Sometimes it seems you need dynamite to put out the fire. Boom or bust.

The fact that Republicans (RINOs?) hate Trump, makes me want to vote for him even more.

I'm so disappointed with both parties.
