Hehee, I hate it when that happens!
:p

I actually just did a journal article (the summary being yelling at a bottle of soap, due to flu-based paranoia) relating to this, and here's the part that applies to the thread:

I must be investing too much of myself into these forums, because the first thing I did was shout "Why are you trying to convert me to your soapy ways?!" and then threw the bottle into the bathtub. Apparently, that wasn't enough, because I immeadiately scrambled around to find it again, only to accuse the bottle of proselytizing. I think I may have added or subtracted a few syllables, though, since someone outside the bathroom asked me to kindly stop playing "Pirates of the Carribean" in the bath. *sulks* It's not as if 'proselytizing' even *sounds* very much like 'rum.'

Or when you sleep thinking your still logged in!

 I've had whole discussions in my sleep dreaming I'm on the forum. Needless to say, I woke up very tired.

I can really relate to this one....I consider all the people here (whom I've never even met) good friends.

Yay to Mr_Spinkles and Sunstone for mentioning this feeling! I'm glad I'm not the only one!

When you find yourself saving pictures that you just know would be perfect as an avatar - for someone else on the board.

AMEN. I think most of us can relate very strongly to this. I love reading the posts, sharing the opinions, examining the values and morals of so many of you (I would have to add SOG, and a couple more to the list). I really love reading the posts when you know that even if you disagree, you can still respect the other persons views (no matter how wrong they are) :sarcastic . (That's sarcasm).

When you can correct friends and not worry about the consequences

TVOR - you should have said it this way "you can still respect the other persons views :)sarcastic no matter how wrong they are :sarcastic - that's sarcasm)"

When you're talking to your friends and say something along the lines of, "Yeah, [fill in username of someone on the forums here] said [fill in some good point said person made here] the other day." and you really can't understand why they have no clue who you're talking about...

That and when you tell yourself that you're only going on to check if there're any new posts, really, that's all, you'll be back to your homework in a couple minutes, and then an hour later you're still on :p

Oh, and Mr. Emu needs that avatar. They were made for each other, I tell you!
