You need God, or God needs you ? If you need God -- then okay, its fine, no further question.

If you think -- God needs you -- then what for you think God needs you ?

Kindly note: please do refrain posting in this thread if you think God is man made concept.
Fortune needs no man,
but man needs good fortune to attain a kinder fate,
perhaps even finding a meaningful reason for all this circumstance,
if fortune would but smile upon them and light the way.:)

Interesting thing is that according to the Bible, God doesn’t need us, or anything from us:

The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn't dwell in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things.
Acts 17:24-25

Just scanned it and it's very interesting. We know that life started in a very primitive way, whether from a god or evolution. My point is no religion has ever stated this is how life started on Earth.

With the Bible the point would be that it does not deny that life started in a very primitive way. It says things like, let the earth bring forth, or let the waters teem with life, and it does not say how this happened. The Biblical description can fit the evolution model.

Not quite. I think we are manifestations of Brahman and exist in this perceived reality as appearances in maya. We have "existence in our own right" as much as a wave has existence in its own right in the ocean.

I prefer the Biblical answer, that we are creations of God, made like God is, to have a relationship with God, because He loves us.
