In no particular order, here's my favorites for today:

Wrath of Khan
Alien duology (Alien/Aliens; later movies never happened)
Back to the Future trilogy (one movie in three parts)
Star Wars Trilogy (original, as above)
Terminator 2

The REAL Star Wars trilogy.
Most of the Star Trek movies (save for the new ones).
The Alien Trilogy
The Matrix Trilogy (yes, I liked all three of them)
Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete (The DVD version is inferior solely because Sephiroth's appearance is maybe a few seconds or more shorter)

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Those choices are utterly wrong (especially Event Horizon)!
Try again.

I demand appeal with Consular Troy representing and Q rendering the final decision. Derelict ships adrift in space are the backbone of many a great sci-fi adventures. Ask Sigourney Weaver.

Blade Runner
Men in Black
Men in Black 3 (best time travel story ever)
Planet of the Apes original
Star Trek fan several of the movies

It is hard to narrow it down to 5, but here goes in no particular order:

Planet of the Apes (68)
The Day the Earth Stood Still (original)
Star Wars
Aliens
Iron Man

Welcome back, Swampy!
Your citing of Iron Man reminded me that Spiderman (2002) would be in my top 10.

YmirGF

Bodhisattva in Recovery
Alien 1, 2, 3 & 4 (It must be a Sigourney Weaver thing.) (Yes, I liked all 4. Sue me.)
2001 & 2010 (Nice bookends.)
The Matrix 1, 2 & 3 (ok, Ok, OK -- I am predictable.)
Total Recall (cheesy yes, but it's a good kind of cheese.)
Terminator II
Predator 1 & 2

Anything to do with the Borg............

(I fondly recall needing resuscitation after the ""I am Locutus of Borg. Resistance is futile. Your life as it has been is over. From this time forward you will service us." scene... )
