Your Compulsions

Just got back from a walk on the paths around me compound.
I take routes that are least trampled, so that trampling is
maximized on all paths. When everything is smooth, then
I'd be done. But regular snows make this a never ending job.

Bigger boots and the job would be done quicker

There is no "quicker" when completion is impossible.
Do you have any weird compulsions to share?

This isn't a compulsion so much, but as I walk, I
contemplate changes to me grounds....where to
plant more trees...paths to move or eliminate....
drainage system upgrades.

I am a little (or so i keep telling myself) OCD about spelling, yes i know, i can't spell. It is a source of constant frustration to me.

I check my eyes—left, right, right, left—before using the loo at home. If I don't, something could be wrong with them in spite of there being absolutely no reason for something to be wrong with them.

There's no requirement that our
compulsions result in brilliant success.

Still frustrating. Its often the case i don't see the error, but i sometimes do, after I've finished writing a letter that I've read through several times, printed it out then see the error. Posting on RF, someone replies, i see an error in the quoted text that i could not see in the original. Or better still, when some dork points out my error...

People think its weird that a 37 year old checks the obituaries each day.

Found a friend in them once when I wasn't expecting it, and it was fairly scarring. I always check(sadly, found an acquaintance in there today).
