Spike Milligan obviously is the gold standard with

"I told you I was ill."

What would you want yours to say?
Mine is already done, as I shall be buried with my deceased wife. At the top it has the neumes and text of the last line of "Attende Domine", a Lenten Gregorian hymn that we both liked, which says: "Quos redemisti, tu conserva, Christe", which means "Those whom you have redeemed, keep safe, O Christ". I thought it fitted the bill for her.

The neumes and the verse in question can be found from 2:10 onwards in this video:

Then at the bottom, below the names and dates of the occupant(s), it has something she used to say when we got bad news about her illness, which my son thought amusingly appropriate for a couple of dead people: "We are where we are.":)

That's planning ahead! I need to get in touch with the Big Cat Sanctuary to arrange for a special meal for the snow leopards.
