My favorite so far (since I'm fairly new to loving horror :D) is this one:

The direction, buildup, tension, and climax are absolutely top-notch.

What are yours? And please make sure to use spoilers for others who haven't watched the scenes' respective movies yet!

I saw this when I was 4 or 5. It was the last horror movie I saw that really scared me.
13 Ghosts

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

I never could find the movies title , I think I was like 10 or 11, but it was a type of werewolf movie where he would kill people by stomping on them to death. Gave me nightmares for months.

One of my favorite horror series also was Darren McGavin in Kolchak the Night Stalker.

I almost forgot about Asian horror. Brrrr.....

There's a great one in the recent film Hereditary (which I strongly recommend).

Can't find a clip, but if you watch it you will probably guess...

My favourite is this classic though

A really creepy/scary movie that has stuck in my head the most is Jacob's Ladder:

I could not find a clip of the scariest bit, but it was when he is brought into that nightmarish mental hospital. Tim Robbins' best flick IMHO.

The scariest horror scene I saw was when Trump got elected.

As far as movies are concerned, "The Exorcist" shook up both my wife & I-- BIG time, and I've hated the sight of pea soup ever since.

Of course, when that girl walked out from the TV in the Ring!

I immediately felt like I had no where to run.

A scene from the Thai version of Shutter. I love that this one plays on childhood fears of the monster lurking by your bed.

Ahh Pinhead before he was turned into a slasher villain. The cenobites are still some of my all time favourite cinema monsters and this scene sums them up perfectly.
