My favorite secular song is Here Comes The Sun by the Beatles (George, of course). Some lines:
"I feel that ice is slowly melting..."
"The smiles returning to the faces"
And many other lovely lines, which most people have probably heard (It is a Beatles' song, you know).

My favorite hymn is Blessed Assurance. It has lines like "Perfect submission, perfect delight, visions of rapture, now burst on my sight" that line puts me more at awe when I remember that the woman who wrote the words was blind.

I will admit to liking "imagine", however Ifeel that the beetles' greatness has been greatly blown out of proportion. Lennon was bit of a douche, to be honest.

Ringo is still alive, too. He just had a new album last year (at age 70). J.L. died in 1980 (he was shot) and George died of cancer in 2001.

Thanks for the info. The only guys I know from beatles are JL and Paul. hehe. And yeah, I've heard of Ringo's album. Have you bought one?

The last time I heard it was on 2007, I think, in the singing contest American Idol.
