I'm not 'offended' per se, but I find it's really hard being taken seriously as a religious person in this country, especially when it's the core of my identity.

Deleted my last post to reword. I get most offended when folk assume im faking my disability. I don't get offended when folk accidently assume I'm abled bodied but once you start thinking im faking cuz I don't fit your idea of disability thats when I have an issue. I have a literal diagnosis from a doctor but I shouldn't have to show my medical records to strangers or private medical things just to get help or be listened to.

Also not offended about it, I don't assume people know everything about me unless I have told them :D And them wrongly assuming something doesn't hurt my feelings, I would simply tell them the correct information if I thought it was important.

I'm not sure I have one - as to offence - apart from not laughing at any jokes I might see as funny, and the music of course. :D

And I doubt I have any identifiable traits, apart from my obvious fatuous, asinine, immature nature.

When they say things like "your mother wears army boots." Actually, anything about my mother is off limits. My father, too.

Well, there was a time when i used to keep long beard with no moustache (coz i thought it was cool. Also it helped me feel religious at the same time) but people around me used to assume i'm a muslim. Some of them even said that i should shave it off because to them muslims are all terrorists. That used to make me mad.
First of all, just because a few of them are into terrorism, doesn't mean all of them are bad. Secondly, a beard like that, is sported by people of other faiths too, like the Amish. People should have boundaries and stop telling others what to do.

I'm waiting for comments like that as a pagan who veils their hair for religious reasons. Im sure some people will think im wearing a hijab and think I'm Muslim but I'm not. If someone acts as tho im a terrorist it'll really tick me off
