I've seen many murder mystery shows.
Currently watching Only Murders In The Building.

Here's my series synopsis.....
Set in Winterthur, the massive estate / museum in Rhode Island,
a prominent high society maven is murdered. Police are clueless,
but a lowly groundskeeper investigates clues left in the grounds,
maintenance buildings, & bowels of the mansion. He solves the
case, leading to conviction of a wealthy benfactor.

Horror of horrors! Another of the local elites is found dead. Once
again, our dedicated ditch digger rises to the occasion to send
another malefactor to prison. This continues year after year,
with the nascent Sherlock becoming celebrated for his keen
insight into the criminal mind.

In the finale episode of this mini-series, we discover that the
groundskeeping gumshoe actually committed the murders
himself, & framed every one of the suspects. Each one, both
murder victim & accused perp had slighted him in some minor
way. The roiling anger built over years. Revenge was to be his!

In this episode we flashbacks to his elaborate execution of his plot.
As the show ends, our protagonist/antagonist languishes in prison.
But then a fellow prisoner disrespectfully steals his pudding cup
from his cafeteria tray. He turns to the pudding purloiner, & beams
a knowing smile. Season 2 finds the game afoot once again!
