Tired.

Working a lot.

Can you believe I'm getting stuff done for work at this moment? 10:00 on a Saturday night, and here I am not just goofing off at the computer, but I'm still doing some reports and documents that I needed to get done this last week. I'm also behind on phone calls (but it would be silly to make them right now).

Did I mention that I'm tired?

gnomon is checking in.

This JD is a fine selection though the cola is getting flat. I'm doing what I always do. Pretending to educate everyone on RF about life, scratching my nose and picking my brain at the same time and wondering what the RF honies would do to me.......

if I was covered in.......

money.

Take the money and run I suppose.

What happened to Saturday night television! It sucks!

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
yes yes she is :D

Becky, I'm sorry for punking on you about your spelling - I didn't realize that you were a mere babe. Well, not a babe, but not grown either.

Your spelling is excused. That being said, don't get too casual about it - it's a skill that can really come in handy! :slap:

One neat way to correct spelling is:
when you see that red squiggly line under the word (this means that there is a possible spelling error)
highlight that word (by putting your curser on it and double clicking it)
then right-click it. (a list of suggested words is presented)
select the want u want
and that's it; the red line is gone.

If the spell check here is not powerful enough, just copy that word to a word processing program. Use the spell check there. Then copy and paste it here.

Cheers.

Lawrence, it's OK - I just had a temporary obsessive/compulsive moment. Type away and don't pay any attention to me!

Okay, that's fine with me. Atleast you have something that can diverse your attention from the Achilles tendon surgery.;)

Exercise the good leg. There's a training effect which will spill over to
the sedentary appendage. Youz gonna be stiff though no matter what.
You got dat right.

The really weird thing is that my calf muscle on the "bum" leg simply doesn't seem to WORK. It's not that I can't tense it up without it hurting - it's that I can't tense it up at all. That's pretty alarming. It tells me how quickly we can lose muscle tone when we're not using a muscle. It also tells me how much PT I am going to have to do over the next six months to a year. AUGH.

From our lessons last sem, our clinical instructor told us that unused muscle usually becomes less toned, "flaccid" and "lazy". Just a suggestion, try to place a pillow under your foot everytime you sleep (if it is possible) to relax your foot muscles, have it moved sometimes, but, do not force yourself. And if the surgery healed already, go to a physical therapist and have some walk.
