What kind of stupid questions are that? So you enjoy conflicts?
I was indeed responding to the statement "I don't support any aspect of people fighting each other over outdated words in dusty tomes.."
Which implies that there is some aspect of fighting that the poster would support...
I was curious as to what that was.

And, your question "So you enjoy conflicts?" is equally puzzling.
To what conflicts are you referring? On the football field? Between family members? In the animal kingdom; plant kingdom? Between countries? Or perhaps between opposing ideologies?
I'm not a big sports fan nor do I favor yelling, hitting and killing but, I must admit to having an admiration the manner in which G-d has designed the inherent conflicts in His Universe...

So your G-d created conflicts, eh? Then that means he's the DEVIL!

We're talking about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict here, hence this debate is called "Zionism". Maybe you should read the author's post of it.

I have.
Perhaps you only disagree with the conflicts between the Israelis and the Arabs called Palestinians? Is that it?
Are you enjoying the rest of the conflicts in the Middle East and the Arab/ Muslim world?
Your contentious statements or questions do seem a tad self defeating.

And, yes - G-d Created this Universe which is always in conflict.
As a matter of fact, NOTHING grows or becomes greater in this Universe without overcoming obstacles; without conflict. Nothing. Not a galaxy; not a star; not a mountain; not a plant; not an animal; and certainly not Man.
The Torah teaches us that, if a Man would have a "perfect life" without any conflict whatsoever, this Man would have the right to ask "Why doesn't G-d love me?"

Well if your G-d created the Universe, and that there's only conflict, then that means he's the evil demiurge the Gnostics talk about; thus, creation is not perfect, and best of all things are all unstable. But look at existence - so symmetrically and mathematically perfect (most of the time). So there. G-d is the devil.

Whatever floats your boat.
Personally, I love Zionism.
It's on par with American Exceptionalism.
If we have to live in This World, we might as well go for the best possible results because, if we don't, we can be sure that "the government" (be it Israeli or American) is going to totally screw things up.
Positive ideologies that don't involve suicide and cutting off heads generally tend to win out over those that advocate mass murder and self immolation.

Uh, that is what AmeriKKKan Exceptionalism and Zionism is.

I get a really bad vibe off Palestinians; they follow heart, not reason. Now, this most certainly is overgeneralization, but it is the sad picture that I have gained over years of looking into this business. The volume of abundant lies have crippled their credibility, in my eyes.

Jews on the other hand...a nation of reason and modernism. They can show their claims true by the blessings of science and scientific method. Plus, the Romans, the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Greeks...they all give account of Jewish population and client kings living in what today is Israel. They are the rightful owners, according to the philosophy of ownership. Moreover, when Palestinians declined UN plan and attacked Jews - who had suffered from the holocaust, which Grand Mufti of Palestine advocated - the Jews prevailed. They have won it fair and square. What more can you ask of them?

The Palestinian people are the native people of Palestine. They've lived there for thousands of years. Many of them are the descendents of the Canaanites and the Israelites. Some of them converted to Christianity and others converted to Islam, down the line. The Jews forcing the Palestinians off their land are Ashkenazi religious zealots, who don't have half as much of a genetic link to that land as the Palestinians do. In fact, you're more likely to find a "Cohen" (descendent of an Israelite temple priest) among the Palestinians than you are among the Ashkenazim, who make up over 90% of world Jewry today. So I don't know what the heck you're talking about.

I believe that the poster wrote: "They have won it fair and square. What more can you ask of them?"
Your Arabs called Palestinians are not very good stewards of the land; have not "won it fair and square;" are very bad losers; spend an overabundance of time killing each other; favor blood feuds and hatred; and would be a tad miffed if you gathered them together to insist that they were Kohanim or even descendants of the Children of Israel.
I doubt you would survive such an encounter when they asked you "what the heck are you talking about...?"

They don't have to "win it" when they've been living there for centuries!

Your anti-Arab hatred is evident.

Complete garbage, sorry dude, i might have sounded to rude but your pseudo facts/arguments do not deserve other. Arabs are not palestinians, its simple as that, stop intellectually rapping your self and get a life.

Then again, what does any nation truly own on this planet? How do you define ownership to a land? When it comes down to it, you define it by merit. Merit separates you from those who have not earned it. Those "Ashkenazi religious zealots" built the buzzling city of Tel Aviv. They made the barren land flourish, provided the land with top-notch education and technological know-how. They built a great nation, all of it to their merit. And what did your Palestinians do? Plotted against them, unable to set their hatred apart. Car bombings, commuter busses blown to bits and human beings burned alive. My sense of justice has hard time dealing with the lie that "Israel is a bloodthirsty nation", when it has been the target of Arab gangbang for the most of the latter part of 20th century.

I see a lot of thinly veiled racism being used in this discussion, against the Palestinians. It sounds like the same arguments racists use to excuse the extermination of the natives peoples of the Americas. "Well, what were they doing with the land beforehand?! Look what the white people built! Isn't it awesome?!"

That's not an excuse for robbing people of their land. What are they supposed to say? "Thank you, Jews, for destroying my house and shooting my kid in the face! Thanks for all that white phosphorus you dropped on my friends! Thank you for making me a prisoner in my ancestral homeland! Your skyscrapers make up for all of that!" I mean, really? Try some empathy.
