on one of those moving walkway thingies.
Other people were trapped fore & aft of me.

I can't recall any moments which might qualify as "extreme danger." I've heard people say "there are no atheists in foxholes," but then again, if someone is going through something traumatic and under extreme duress, they might be inclined to believe in just about anything.
