I also have an Italian style not really espresso maker, though those are fiddly, and of course the old standby a drip coffee maker.

The way the day is going, I might have some of that Cognac I didn't have yesterday.Hoping you've recovered from your slumbers by now. Perhaps you could try a café noisette, its essentially an espresso with a dash of milk. Noisette is for hazelnut, thats the colour the drink should be. It's a great slap across the face wake-up drink.
