Cannabis Rescheduling

Decided to make this a separate thread.

So it appears that cannabis is going to be rescheduled from it's.current classification, to a lesser one. While also acknowledging it's medicinal benefits.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Why?

It's not bad, but I'd hope someone is going to address the elephant in the room that nobody seems to care about, the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs - Wikipedia.

I wouldn't say it's bad, but it would be better if there was complete legalization.

... coupled with regularization and quality control.
Not different from any other consumable in the free market.
