Exactly. For example something I learnt recently would be useful to teach is body language can be used to say stop. Cuz see im a partial mute so I was trying to figure out how would I withdraw consent if I went mute during sex with someone or something like that . And I figured out I could always create a gesture agreed upon with said partner that means stop. And this made me realize tho I ain't thought of it consciously tho I knew until then that body language is a part of consent in general which would be important to teach kids. Like some rapists try to defend themselves say oh they didn't say no. But like that person didn't say yes nor did they indicate they wanted it with body language. In fact their body language probably indicated the opposite.There are a lot of misunderstandings of consent, which is why we need to be taught it starting at a young age.
I wonder how many rapes could be avoided if we actually teach consent right.
