Seems that the Seattle schools have come to the conclusion that there are too many white children in the advanced learning classes.
That is at least what the superintendent of Seattle’s public schools thinks according to the following quote from:
The superintendent of Seattle’s public schools, Denise Juneau, says the primary reason these courses (which are majority white) are being eradicated from their school system is that “the programs for advanced learners turned the school into ‘a slave ship.’”
