Other sheep I have...

idea

Question Everything
For everyone who believes in the Bible, and also believes their group is the only "true" church, or only church with *real* authority, how do you explain away the scripture saying there are other sheep - telling everyone there are many different legit groups?

I understand it to mean that the Gentiles were the other group and so we are as one family

The gentiles, as in the Methodists? Or Baptists? Or??

"One" family?
Gentiles is everyone outside of the Jewish family. IMV - bringing them together as one family

What brings Hindus, Muslims, Mormons, and atheists together with Christians as "one family"? Just not being Jewish?

Jesus came first to His sheep, the Jews/ Israel, then to offer salvation to the rest of the world; all non-Jews. Any who place their faith in Him are His other sheep. It’s not about a “right group or a true church with authority”. It’s about Jesus the Savior seeking lost sinners and people finding forgiveness and eternal life in Christ alone; not an organization, church or religion.

Are you referring to this verse?

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

What I think that verse means is that when Christ returns He will unite humanity into one fold, and eventually there will only be one religion, not many separate religions the way we have now.

I just posted a different interpretation of John 10:16 above, but I believe your interpretation is also valid. A Bible verse can have more than one meaning.

For me, the only legit group is the one which goes by science and not by fake stories and fake claims.

I never have understood how a belief in Brahma is validated by science. I don't mean to challenge that, but just wondering how you came to that conclusion. I guess for you Brahma is a name for the universe, though it could be called by a different name? Einstein had a similar view of God.

Thought this was a thread about actual sheep. I have sheep. Did you know sheep will act normal
no matter how sick or in pain they are? You might not know somethings wrong until they just fall down
and lie there. "Nothing's wrong with me, I'm fine, everything's fine, not sick, not in pain, not crying..."

Brahmā is the name of a Puranic Hindu God, who created the universe at the instance of Shiva, Vishnu or Mother Goddess Durga, did not do that on his own (i.e., a lesser God than others, also controls fate).

You are correct, Brahma (without the elongated ā as in Brahmā) is the universe. Brahman is what constitutes the universe, the stuff of the universe, i.e., Brahma is constituted by (made up of) Brahman, at least according to my view.
Sure, there are other names for universe, like Jagat (that which is perceived while awake) or Samsara (which goes on without stop).

"there are other sheep"

Yeshua meant the other (ten) Israelite tribe that were in the exile and not living in Judea, as Yeshua was a Prophet/Messenger to the Israelites, and not to the gentiles as Hellenist-Paul made others to believe falsely, one gets to know, please. Right?

Those who have died never return. There is no way Christian, Muslims, Bahais, Ahmadiyyas, etc. can unite without denying their messengers.

I agree with one here on what I have colored in magenta, please.
