Thank you, though I don't celebrate my secular birthday. In fact, there was so much action on the news the night before (Motzei Shabbat) that it didn't even register to me that the next day (yesterday) was the 14th.

I believe you posted in the past an interest in Christian practices. I intuitively believe in an intelligent Source of Existence. i've become very cynical of the human nature of the authors of scripture and present day clerics....I've witnessed sadistic tendencies of some RC priests and injustices that mainly were committed by priests. My extended family included 4 cloistered nuns and a priest

Sorry to hear. I don't know how correct it is to say that I have an interest in Christian practice. My main interest is in historic terms, especially in terms of what can be gleaned from Christian sources about Jewish history. And sometimes I enjoy debating theology. Not much more than that.
i think i misunderstood the report option....i am not reporting anything just posing a question....how can someone exclude non Jews from asking questions in said thread?
Is it within the rules of RF for someone to pose a thread : Only Agnostics may participate, except Stonetree.....?....(Hypothetical)

No, that would be bullying. But if you're asking about the Jews-only thread, it's not the same. It is perfectly legitimate to request a response on a subject from a certain group of people, based on the sensible assumption that they may know more than people who are not really part of that world.
