  • Good point. I'll give some consideration on how to word it and then will probably do so. :)
    Hey doppelgänger,

I saw your post in thread, "Honestly, Why do you need "God"?". I was going to comment there, but thought it'd go from the thread a bit, so I posted it here, if you don't mind. :)

    Your post was:

To mark an irresolvable paradox in the logic of cause and effect. Though marking it with a word that carries such enormous psychological baggage for most people is a sloppy and lazy way to communicate

I'm guilty of that - I use a term for God (meaning Supreme Ultimate Absolute Reality, similar to Tao or Brahman) and yet also for the active participle (archetypical, personal gods (illusions of the mind), Shakti, and so on). I've noticed it brings a lot of confusion though, even possible to me. Is there anything I can do to make communication clearer, and still understandable?
You know, about once or twice each time you come online and post, you say something to remind me that you're one of the most brilliant people I've had the pleasure of meeting. I'm actually being honest when I say that. So pay me some money for it! Or do you think honesty is cheap?
Thanks. I think people gobble her up on a superficial level because she says a lot of things that make them feel comfortable in their habits. In my experience, unless the matter is closed because they are already a serious devotee, upon a deeper examination, most people find her philosophy rather abhorrent.
