    Foundational cosmology... it's the study of how physicists should look at the universe mathematically (being a part of the system we're studying). Lots of noncommutative geometry, sheaf/category/topos theory and stuff. Most physicists answer questions like "How do I explain this phenomenon" while people like me answer questions like "how SHOULD physicists answer how to explain those phenomenons"
