    Yes, a paradox is looming.
If Charles forgoes the Crown then he proves himself to be of large enough stature to have worn it.
And William does seem to be his grandmother's darling and preferred heir; and quite a worthy candidate for the office too.
    Yes, agreed.
And HM seems to be the outstanding member of her line who has received the least and given the most, who has been a steadying influence in a world of turmoil, demanded nothing and had continual demands made of her.
ERII, every bit as much as her subjects, has been a subject of the Crown; and, unlike so many others, has unfailingly done her duty.
As you say 'a hard act to follow'. It seems the institution is in for a rough time at her passing.
    In the Limericks thread, silly.

    Oh... and .... nothing.

Im just heading to bed now. Have a good day! Thanks for the admiration- it's always welcome :D
I bet warming up still means freaking cold :D

You know, where I live it can easily get above 20 C* in Winter on a sunny day. Ah, life is good :p
It's been raining a lot where I live but we haven't had flood issues yet. I don't think it will be a problem where I live- even when it does flood it never gets so bad that we have to evacuate or get flooded in. Probably because my town is relatively high above ground, whereas some of these places getting flooded are flatter. Thank goodness!
