    I am asking because I am really interested in Modern Orthodoxy (not necessarily becoming MO though).

    That is a difficult question to answer. According to my mother, I wasn't Modern enough. However, I glory in my secular knowledge and listen to secular music as well as religious music.

    If I had to describe it, I would be Modern Orthodox the way Rabbi Yosef Soloveichic was Modern Orthodox, although I'd have to work hard to reach his level.

    Thank you for the enlightening discussion/debate on the 'salat' thread. I actually feel that I came out the better for it because you educated me on a few things. Unfortunately, there was absolutely nothing I could say on the topic that was necessarily informative or insightful. Sorry. Next time we meet, maybe the topic at hand will be scotch whiskey, NFL football or fantasy novels, then I can hold up my end of the dicussion. LOL. See ya around.
