mmmm,the spiritual path finally kicked in on me after years of wine ,women,song,fighting & gambling in pursuit of happiness,and just mindlessly squandering the rest of my cash.

My mind set/beliefs were very much like yours for a time.
If you knew me back when I was an "out of church" christian,
you would not believe it probably.
But my faith and dedication to follow the deeper meaning of Christ
was one of the heart. It was real.

So, anyway,
I do empathize with the inherent conundrum
(as I see it) of christianity,
as it comes to loving others as they are
while dealing with the whole "us and them" thing.
I used to hate that to no end.

I actually tried to hold both persectives at once for a while.
But it was exhausting.
So I dropped the burden.
(which was for me christianity)

I am much happier now.
It is a deep happiness, not something superficial.

I say Heneni, if what you choose is Christianity...
be happy in it NOW.
