    The main reason I bought them is for work, I drive a school bus and am required to wear closed toe/heel shoes. However, I really don't wear them any other time. I am ALWAYS barefoot. Especially when in the woods.

    I really want the KSO's because they look more comfortable on the heel, of which the classic's annoy me there.

    I've never even met the guy. He lives in NW Canada a few doors down from Santa Claus' house, while I'm in Revoltistan (SE MI, USA). He was once "Dr Wirey" on our old forum. Due to a little banning problem I have, I've been: twslandlord, The Pope, The Devil, Satan, Revolting, Revoltinger, Revoltingest & a bunch of others while in impersonation mode. Our best bit was to each impersonate one of 2 people having a bitter argument about Scottish tartans. In this guise, we acted out a torrid love affair, entirely in verse.....er, doggerel.

    Oh, I thought you were asking about how he met Mrs Wirey. Dr Wirey & I (since 2007) were on a discussion board over at The History Channel. It used to be rather unmoderated, so we had some wonderfully wild & mirthful exchanges. But then things changed & moderation became a teacher's pet thingie, with many of the interesting posters fleeing or being banned. I found this place & invited him.
