I wonder if its some type of phenomenon like phantom texts. Actually most likely not, or entirely different. I think the phantom ring is a bit like an itch.

And I think it's a valid question. That's how science works. A theory is only a theory if you can come up with those exact questions. Questions that if they were true would disprove the theory. And the question you made has been asked, and is still asked, but no one has found it to be true. No modern rabbits jumping with the dinosaurs. But there could have been rabbit ancestors maybe? Or perhaps rabbits are like sharks. LOL! No change. Top of an evolutionary niche.
