It's kind of hard to explain... It actually was completely inaccurate in a couple of respects. For instance, I believe it said twice that no one besides Joseph Smith ever saw that plates when, in fact, eleven other men did see and handle them.
I recognized it as satire, and I believe that satire does have its place. I'm glad that Mormons were painted as good, decent people. I wish they hadn't been presented as "dumb dumb dumb dumb" (we both know how that word was spelled and what it meant). Basically, everybody's beliefs are "dumb" to people who don't believe them. I just know that I've heard quite a few people say things like, "Oh, I know what Mormons believe. I saw the SouthPark episode on Mormonism." They don't seem to recognize the fact that while there was some truth to what was presented, there was also a lot of exaggeration and sensationalizing, and that if they want to find out what Mormonism really teaches, SouthPark probably isn't their best source of information.
