LOL thanks for the encouragement on the TK thread - I've actually gotten frubals from several liberals who secretly agree with a lot of what I've posted. Shame they don't feel the freedom to post their true opinions. Telling, isn't it?

Yikes I looked it up and I misread it, the woman is claiming it is a breed of cat, but the vet thinks it is just a big fat cat. Your initial reaction poor kitty was correct.

I look in from time to time and I too miss you, especially your clarity in expressing you faith, and lack of rancour when sorely tried by others.

Actually it's just a hobby. I get a strange kick out of nudging people up a level, so I look at the numbers as I read posts.

At some point, though, I'll probably have to quit because we have so many I'm starting to have trouble keeping up.

Regarding the extremists and Islam - It's funny but I can't reconcile the two. They seem about as relevant as the KKK are to Christianity - just fringe nutters whose insanity draws attention to themselves.
Another thing that I find funny about this journey towards God is that it seems I have little control over it.
At the end of the day I cannot judge which religion is right in any absolute way. I need to try and find what's right for me. One of my firm beliefs is that if I or anyone else is earnest and tries to do no harm we'll be ok with God.
