Sounds great. I heard about that heat, must have been overwhelming at times.

We had only one of our kids around since our oldest is working all the time and our two youngest is down in Florida. So the three of us BBQ'd, indulged in all things baseball, BBQ'd again, and then recuperated with Pepto Bismol while the male-folk bonded by playing the XBox. I got to visit some of my girlfriends that I hadn't seen in a while.

Now, we're pretty much childless. Dylan and Garette are back with their normal lives at their mother's house. It's been nice going to the fridge and still seeing food there. I still can't get over the fact that when you have kids, you actually have to feed them.

Whatever.

How was your weekend?

My knuckles were starting to go soft. I need to get back into practice.

So, I'm putting together my own dance studio after working the local circuit for 20 years and apprenticing for the last 3 years.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll be contacting you with an interest in your music. It won't be at the very least until this Fall, but I'm always looking for talent I can either collaborate with, contract, or just plain steal from.

You know, that's a great idea. I think I'll look into that. We do have a local affiliate of NPR that also plays some good jazz every now and then, but it really is a shame that we don't have that much variety in music selection...St. Louis is a hub for the Blues and R&B, yet the city doesn't have a station for THAT. Yes, I'm on a roll right now, but I allow myself t vent once in a blue moon.

Oh, and to answer your question on woman-speak: I don't even know if I want you to touch me right now or not, but that's only because as a woman I'm bat-**** crazy. That's not the end of world, though, since I have to put up male stupidity, too.
