No, the most common in Egypt praying 8 Rak'at but the imam finish one juz' (part) of the Qur'an...of course there are mosques that don't finish an entire juz' and they finish quickly, in addition to the 2 rak'ah of Shaf' and rak'at al Witr when the imam make the du'a...

I think in Mecca and Saudi Arabic in general, they pray 20 Rak'ah...



What about you? How many rak'at do you pray? Do you pray at the mosque or at home?

It's "favour" lol, not "fever". A fever is when your body temperature goes up when you're sick.

And I've never really heard it used in any other way. "Old'un" just doesn't have the same feel to it.

What I was wondering is how dates (hurmalar) are used in Ramadan - to finish the fast of every day (e.g., you finish the fast of Ramadan 1 with dates, Ramadan 2 with dates, etc) or if they are used to finish the fast of the whole month of Ramadan only.
