    My brother put in a garden this year. Nothing besides his family makes him happier. He loves to grow things.

    It is foolish and it is even wicked to spend so much on guns and bombs, my friend. People will say you and I are fools for preferring a garden to a tank, but I think the real fools are those who prefer tanks to gardens.

    I grew up in a farming area. The soil there was the color of rich chocolate and it would grow anything. I can still remember how it smelled in the summer -- a little bit like a woman's hair.
