It would be really nice if there were too. I'm glad you and I at least relate. Thank you for moving my thread.
Who is your Guru? Yes you are correct the whole idea of a Guru is to unidentify with anything that Maya creates. To be sad and connect with a personality as his real self is affirming your own disconnection with his true being. Pure consciousness of God. That is why my Guru is ever with me and I know he's guiding me even though his last living form has been dead for a while now.

I noticed noone is very interested in Kriya Yoga on these forums. I posted a thread explanation of Kriya Yoga in the hinduism segment of this forum. Could you possibly move it to the overall dharmic portion of this forum so more can view it? That would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for telling me about her passing. I see death differently then some if not most. I'm happy she is once and for all immersed with God! I'm sure she achieved final freedom!
Thanks. That may be enough, actually. My family and myself do celebrate Christmas, so I'll just add it to my list.
Thanks, but I don't feel comfortable giving my address out. It's not that I don't trust you; it's that posting an address online is never a good idea.
It'll be a while before I get the chance to make it. I'm only in beginning programming. ^_^ I also want to be well-established before trying it.

I haven't really found one to read, yet. I can't really find it in bookstores (not that I have the money to buy one if I did), and my local library only has the Buck translation, which I didn't like. I know there's the Gopali translation from a while ago, but MAN is that one hard to read!
Oh, yes. ^_^ Though I'm primarily a retro gamer, I do think there have been some great advancements in modern gaming as well. This one would most likely fall in the same genre as God of War and those kinds of games.

I do think I can include the philosophies that are in the story, as long as they're secular. But the gameplay would focus on the battle itself (one level for each day of fighting) with the story being told through flashbacks and depending on which Pandava is being played at the time. (More replay value if each of the Pandavas are playable, each with their own gameplay style, levels, and story inputs. I have entertained the notion of having Krishna be an unlockable character. ^_^)
I tried film making for a while, but I don't think I'll be able to learn the intricacies of that art along with the intricacies of the art of programming and game design. Besides, part of the reason why I want to do it as a game is so I can introduce the story to my own subculture (I'm a gamer, myself.) Otherwise, I would.

Of course, I'd have to keep it somewhat secular, while doing by best to keep the philosophies intact. That will be a real challenge. (History has shown that religion-centered video games always, ALWAYS suck big time.)
It might be nice to go and look at it. Just be ready that they are somewhat dry. Not lots of signing and dancing. Thats what I like about you Gaudiya folks ! There is also a group called the Sarada Math in your country the head Swamis and the whole group is run by women. That I would like to see.
