  • Very understandable though in the circumstances of that thread. Its topic, and some of the responses it got.
Arguing for logic (literally arguing for log-ic, or the "ice on the log"), just ends up making it very hard to stand on the log. If you want to stand on the log, you should melt the ice first.
No, just a Halo type of guy. My sons play Call of Duty, some other zombie filled mayhem, but it does feel good to fry some Aliens.
    part 2
Day one is defined as night then day, creation ex nihilo , (tohu and bohu in hebrew which is created out of nothing then matter created out of that matter. So in a nut shell, the first verse describes the big bang. Science agrees, big bang, all known forces are tightly fused together, about 700 k years later quarks break free from gravity and light is seen (night then day).
Think about that, what other tribes on earth believe the day is night first then day.
Much more stuff but in the end i believe God created the DNA and we are part of this 13 billion year experiment.
The days didnt represent our actual 24 hours until day 6 with "mans creation".
Time is relative, we know that now, but back in the day with the torah, they didnt.
Hey, its a story, got to believe something right.
    Good luck.
    part 1
Hey, I think Im done on the thread.
My take on it all, the bible is not translated well in english. In the hebrew i believe there is alot more information. I dont read hebrew but i bought some text to help, and other literature that helps dig deeper.
What i found is that the story of creation, is a story told in 32 verses, narration from the creators point of view (and time).
Hi Meow Mix. I had some blinding discussions on AOL, but as you say the boards seem to have disappeared. This forum is quite good, though, with fewer fanatics. Keep up the good work. Regards, Cottage
PS, I believe congratulations are in order? :)
I wanted to say more but that is all I could get out at the time. Just by looking at you she knows your thoughts, feelings and emotions? That is hard to find and even harder to lose.
Oh, I'm not saying you're wasting your talent in that debate, just on RF in general. Then again, I've been jaded to the point of rarely bothering to go through the motions of rational explanation.
Would you mind taking a peep at my thread in the 'Same 'faith' debate section. I'm trying to recruit some atheists to post there, at the moment I'm swamped by muslims and latter day saints. Should make for some good discussion.
    You're doing it again... ;)

And that mind of yours; I mean, the rest of you is alright, but that mind is gorgeous. Happy New Year!
Well I'm going to be honest, it's not an easy job. It requires utter commitment to all things zombie. If you're up to the task though I'd be happy to make you an honorary apprentice ;)
how long did your largest tattoo take? because i was almost fainting after the first 2 minutes with the small one on my shoulder blade lol
Hi Meowmix, thanks for the add. OMG your tattoo album is out there! I got a couple of small tats when I was a teenager and boy they hurt, you must like pain lol.
