    Hi Chris.

Indeed! It was good to see you in a feisty mood. Seems like you're feeling better. Great news. Hope all is well with Paul. Have a great week, and very best regards.

    That's OK, Christine.

The main reason was to let you know that I'm thinking of you at this difficult time. I trust that you will soon be pain-free and bouncy :)

Dry dock?.....reminds me of Joyce Grenfell's 'Stately as a galleon, I sail across the floor; doing the Military Two-step, as in the days of yore!'.

Great news. I make that the 9th June. Louise was out the day after her op. Good sailing :)

Hi Christine. I was thinking one thing: The guy had pleasure for a WHOLE TEN MINUTES??!! Whaaww. And remembering another: When, as a new dad, I once complained to my mother about having to give up MY time to help look after my son. She replied: 'You shook your arse....you shake the cradle!'

Count on the cat, my sympathies lie elsewhere at the moment because i am feeling extremely sorry for myself. Got to have my gallbladder removed as a matter of urgency.

I am sorry. Same thing happened with Louise just last year. In great pain beforehand, but has been much better since. What for us is horrendous, is routine for the medics. I'm going by what Louise said and felt, by the way....not just mouthing ignorant words. It will be well....just doesn't feel that way at the mo. Thinking of you.

    What is the Chinese symbol?
    Niblo
    Niblo
It is the Japanese character 'akebono'. On one level it means 'dawn' or 'daybreak'. On another it symbolises the start of a new adventure or great opportunity. This is why Japanese companies display the character when, for example, building a new factory..or launching a new major product. For an old guy like me, everyday is an 'akebono' day!

This is one occasion I wish there was no need. That place has seen so much (my wife and I visited years ago). I work in manufacturing, and so have an appreciation all the planning, knowledge, skill and hard graft that went into creating such beauty. Very sad that it should come to this.

My kids learned that a galaxy bar gave more chocolate than an egg. They quickly dropped the latter for the former! Great news for my wife and me....galaxy bars were cheaper.

We have just been searching for Easter eggs to take to the uk tomorrow. Jeez are they expensive in france if you want french chocolate and not the british style animal fat, emulsifiers and E-flavourings garbage.
