In your case, I think you offer to tell Heather what really happened (if I were you, I'd not tell the story without her asking--someone we know did this and they were believed to be lying, even though they weren't lying!). In such a case, I don't know if Heather would believe what your ex says: my wife didn't believe what the ex said for a moment, but then again, I grew up with my wife as friends. I think things will work out for you two though

I do understand. You said one needs to acknowledge the spiritual demensions. Right? Well I belive there is no spiritual demension that all life dwells in. But if Im really missing your point please explain I am highly interested.
And you can do all of this without satanism. Im not saying you should stop what you believe or that it is morally wrong. But there are ways of reaching this state of self awareness and self-preservation. By opening the Chakras you can become one with yourself and teh source of which gives us life. This is without ritual, without belief, and without spirituallity.
I have still read the book and disagree entirely. Rituals and Magic are not a sane practice. Rituals and Magic are beliefs of which have bo relevance in the modern world. Their is no magic and there is no Satan.

I know i have read that book myself. By open to the earth you mean magic and rituals. Why not be open to the Earth without Satanic rituals. Its another religion wether or not it has its good points. And I do agree with the book in multiple ways but there is no need to worship anyone and still live this way.
Open minded not to other religions and faiths for those are all farces. I am open minded to my body and to the earth. Not to LaVeys since of humor and magic. So if you dont believe in the words of the Satanic bible, which worshiping yourself and being your own god has a big part in, than why put it as your religion? I have read Anton LaVey's Satanic Bible and I believe it to be selfindulgence to the maximum. It's words are misleading and you should never treat other person or yourself in ways produce by that book.
