  • Haha, I've never actually studied Arabic (though I would like to, I never have. I don't have the courage) - all the words I know, I've learned from copying people. For example, I knew how to use subhana wa ta'ala and sallalahu alayhi wa sallam long before I actually knew what they meant. :D

Other words (like inshallah) I just sort of.. guessed what they meant due to how they were used. :) Confusing huh? :D
selamu alaykum sister and happy ramadan, may Allah make this fasting month easy for you and me and all the ummah and may our sins be forgiven inshallah, amin.
    Yeah, I like eselam a lot. :)

He's a good chap though, I don't think that he's been offended during spiritual debates I've had with him, which is good. :)
    Hehehe :D
I'm not the most observant person sometimes - I only recently realized me and Eselam have been members since the same month. :D
Thank you for sharing that URL with me :)
So as long as it's just a kiss - and nothing more, then it's permissible? :)
Ameen, walki methlo my dear Ahlam :)
Alhamdulillah, I'm benefiting from Tajweed courses...I've learnt that the Arabic we were studying at schools is not the right one...We were studying a wrong sounds of letters, similarly words. Thus you will find some people reading verses in a wrong way, and that leads to changings in the meaning of words...This is very horrible. So I think it is very essential to start the Tajweed courses by learning Makharij Al huroof.
